pc switching off during installation

I am trying to install xp pro on my computer (asus a7n8x
deluxe, amd athlon xp2800+)

The initialization runs correctly, but when the page comes
where i have to choose, whether i want to install xp, the
pc switches off every time.

This is usually caused by failing hardware. Start troubleshooting RAM,
hard drive, power supply, etc.

hi
i had this problem before and it was cuz of the power supply.

i had to replace the power supply
