I'm sure this has already been discussed but I can't find
a previous answer online or in the Knowledge Base. My new
Windows XP Pro load has an odd behavior, whenever I click
on the vertical scroll bar in a Windows App (Outlook and
Explorer 6) with a long page the window moves two pages.
I was in the local PC shop picking-up a new mobo and
customer was complaining of the same issue but the shop
had no answer. I changed out the mouse and fiddled with
the settings but no soap. Any ideas?

Hi

I would think you got this effect from the security update MS03-048/KB824145.
Microsoft is aware of this problem with KB824145 and looking into it.

The person who wrote this appalling post above has not
made any useful contribution to this newsgroup. Such a
vitrolic comment also disturbs me as I try to read all
the post to learn more abt the various problems I'm
having with XP. I feel very sorry for anybody who goes
through life with such a negative attitude.

This behavior is due to one of the latest updates. MS is currently aware of
the issue.
