Kurt;
Do a Search for *.WAB WAB = Windows Address Book.
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

Do a Search for *.WAB
Start/Search/For Files and Folders/Advanced Options/
check: Search system folders
check: Search hidden files and folders
check: Search Subfolders
type: *.WAB in the "Type file name here" box
click the Search Now button
Look for it in the right hand pane
====
Start/Run/type "C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book"
(without the quotes)
Change Your Name Here to whatever applies
click OK

If there really is no "Application Data" folder you have more problems than no Address Book.

Kurt - I had the same problem of having no Application Data folder. I read this email train and figured that there must be something else wrong because I have an address book and it had to be stored somewhere. Here's the solution! That file is HIDDEN!

Go to My Computer/Tools/Folder Options. Click on the View tab. Under Files and Folders there is a check box for Hidden files and folders - click on Show Hidden Files and Folders. Et voilĆ*. Now you can follow Wes' instructions. Hope this helps you.

A much easier way is to just bring up the address book, click on Help and
then About Address Book and it will show you where it resides.
