Internet Explorer returns an error on the address you just entered or clicked

Hi,

I couldn't get the website when I entered the password
and submitted it. I got error message ' Internet Explorer
returns an error on the address you just entered or
clicked' I checked the internet security options and they
looked okay.

Please let me know how to solve this problem.
