I need help. I encrypted some file and can not decrypt
them. The message says I do not have access and I am the
one that encrypted them.

Caroline,

Were you the one that encrypted them, also have you reinstalled Windows XP
since you encrypted them.
If you did a reinstall and did not backup yours or the recovery agents keys
(if you made one) and do not have access to your entire original profile
then you have lost access to those files.
