View Full Version : disk compression

I have upgraded to a new computer with Windows XP. I
have several floppy disks that I used with my old system
(Windows98) that I compressed. My new computer will not
read the disks now. I must de-compress them, but XP does
not have the same compressing system as the 98. I get a
message about using "DriveSpace" to de-compress but XP
doesn't have "DriveSpace" either. What can I do to
salvage my data on these disks?

Please e-mail me any assistance and suggestions. Thanks
for your help

You need to read them on a Windows 98 (or similar) computer, and
transfer the data to non-drivespaced media.
