New looking pop-ups

How in the heck can I get rid of these confounded new
"messenger" pop-ups when they pop up you cand do sh**
untill you close them out and I'm sure MS has a fix for
this that won't cost me $19.95 What is up with that?

if these are the pop-ups from the messenger service.
Bottom line is, use a firewall, either purchased or the=20
one that comes with XP.

If you mean Windows Messenger, that is something different.
Also, if you are having pop-up issues from web browsing,=20
you would need a third-party pop-up stopper. Jupiter Jones=20
has been giving a rather full list of alternatives in replies to=20
threads in this newsgroup.
