Brian,
Let me guess...you just installed XP! I have been having
the same problem with the program Roxio Easy CD Creator.
I can't uninstall, reinstall,then uninstall....nothing!
The only temporary solution I have found is to go out to
the internet and find a fix for the particular programs
you are having problems with, download them, and see if
that doesn't help. I have found no good way to re-format
my hard drive either. I just got my hands on a boot disk
and I am goint to try and reformat from that.
Good luck to you and let me know if you find anything
out. By the way, aren't the Microsoft techs supposed to
be answering these questions? I have seen no responses.
