Trust Relationship Failed

I have a network consisting of a Win2K Server and several
XP Pro and Win98 clients. All machines are in the same
domain. The server has a static IP and clients use DHCP
on the server.
I want to share a printer attached to an XP Pro client
with the Win98 clients.
Although I can easily share the printer with other XP Pro
clients, it appears that I have to set up the Win98 users
with accounts on the XP Pro client attached to the
printer for them to access it.
Each day when the XP Pro client with printer is attached
is booted, the Win98 users no longer appear on the user
list. Trying to add them again give the error 'user
could no be added ... The trust relationship between this
workstation and the primary domain failed.'
The workaround for this seems to be to remove the XP Pro
client from the domain and then adding it back (requiring
2 reboots), then the Win98 clients re-appear. This has
to be done each day as the XP Pro client is booted up.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a permanent fix?

The first thing to check is what DNS IP address is being=20
delivered in the DHCP scope options. If an uplevel box=20
that is a domain member uses any DNS server that is not=20
able to resolve names in the DNS zone used to support=20
AD, then you will see all sorts of misbehavior, like this.
