Update 813489 Patch for IE6 SP1

I have tried downloading this numerous times yet it will
not show up on my computer. It downloads, says it
installs, yet it shows up as needing to update every time
I go to check for updates. Does anyone have an answer?

Hi Jeff,

Open Internet Explorer and go to Help> About Internet Explorer. Make sure
Q813489 is listed under Update Versions. If it is then the update has been
installed.

If the update is installed, post your question on
news:microsoft.public.windowsupdate . They may be able to answer your
question about how to stop the update from appearing when you go into
Windows Update.
