Explorer.exe crashes

Could someone please help me with this. Brand new machine
and explorer.exe crashes whenever I right click a
directory or subdirectory. Error message: Windows
explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close......

XP professional operating system.

Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106,
faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address
0x20204960.

You may have bad RAM. Either test it yourself or take the machine back
to where you bought it.
