Can I install software when I loggin to domain

I'm using Win Xp Pro as a station and it has connected to
domain, can I install software when I was loggin to domain.
(i.e. not install software on 'this computer')

Can you install software on a machine that has joined a domain? That's a
question for the domain administrator - they can decide to allow or block
this.
