MSN popups

I have recently spent a lot of time getting rid of thoes
popup and adware programes on my computer. To no avail.
The bloody thing is using MSN so as soon as I told my
firewall to close the ports the popups were coming
through, MSN no longer works, I can get mail, but that
it. On the plus side, I no longer have thoes bloody
popups.

Anyone know how to get rid of them and still use msn?
