Windows Backup Does Not Back Up to CD-R, CD-RW, or DVD-R
Devices [Q315255]

You can cheat it with a packet writing program like Roxio
Direct CD (comes with Easy CD Creator ) Or Nero
InCD or DLA You then use a CD ( will not Span cd's) or
DVD's (4.7+ gb) to back up too.

>I'm trying to back up the MY documents directory to CD.
I Instlled the backup program from the OS CD. For some
reason when I select my CD drive (E:) to back up to, I
get an "invalid file name E:\my docs.bkp. check to see
that the path is accessible". I don't have this problem
if I send the back up to the floppy drive but I don't
have enough floppies. I've tried using CD-R and CD-RW
discs. I also verified I can copy to the E:drive.
