When I try to launch a program (from icon, .exe file or 'run'), Media Player 9 opens with 'unsupported file type' message. Ran Norton A/V, scandisk and AdAware - no problems. Fixed registry '.exe' association. No effect. Would like to fix without rei
nstalling everything if possible. Using XP Pro with all MS updates installed, HP laptop, 512MB RAM. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - and have a happy holiday season!
