Hi

I need some advice on my network security and profile issues and how I get
the most from my O/S and the best way forward.

I have 2 PC's my main PC & a Laptop, I have a wireless connection with
following equipment.

a.. Main PC O/S Win XP Pro connected to a Linksys Wireless cable router:
b.. Laptop O/S Win XP Pro Wireless PCMCIA: WPC11 BEFW11S4

I have set up my PC's and they are talking to one another and I can share
files and my printer. My current configuration is I have 2 profiles on both
machines.

1.. Profile A is the administrator and logs on with a password
2.. Profile B has a limited account and has no password

This is the same on both machines in respect of the profiles.

Security Set Up

What is the best set up in the above circumstances I want profile A to be
able to share all the files from either machine in respect of both profiles.

In respect of profile B I need them to be able to see there files on both
machines but not profile A's.

Synchronising Files
I have tried for 4 hours to make Offline Files work but I am getting no joy
I have followed 4 tutorials but I am getting no where. I have disabled fast
switching on both machines and set up Offline files enabled.

I am getting confused with Map Network Drive and I have a shortcut to an
Offline Folder on both desk tops. But I cannot add this folder! I also
cannot see this file across the network.

Before I go any further is this the best solution or can I achieve full
synchronising with simple file sharing or should I use briefcase? Please
remember I need to keep the above security integrity.

I also need to know that if it is possible to keep Outlook or Outlook
Express synchronised on both machines automatically.

Hope this makes sense if not email me for more info

Cheers Dale
