View Full Version : Clean install?

Am planning on doing a clean install of XP Pro, slipstreamed with SP1, on a
600MHz Athlon system with 384MB RAM and 17.2GB HDD partitioned 2 x 8.6GB.
What I would like to do is to streamline the install as much as possible and
not install unnecessary stuff. If I choose Custom install what can I safely
leave out? The PC is unlikely to be ever networked so what can I leave out
there? Can I opt out of Media Player, Movie Maker, Games etc.when
installing?

You could basically opt out of everything in custom if you wanted to if you
dont need any of it. You can always add the things you need after the
install is on the machin via appwiz.
