net use to network printer via login script

Is there a way around the security which does not allow
non-admins mapping lpt1 to a network printer if the local
device exists? I cannot disable the local device as these
machines need local locks on the parallel port for
software license needs.

I'm getting the same problem. I've added to user to the Administrators
group on the local machine. which allowed me to capture lpt1 for her. But
for now I have to leave her in that group.

If there is a better way, I'd sure like to know it.
