Windows XP Home Edition tried to access a shared folder on
a Windows NT member server in the same Windows NT domain
was prompted for username and password again after logging
onto Windows NT 4.0 domain. Is there a way to avoid this
second logon when I try to access a shared folder on a
Windows NT member server in the same NT domain?

Windows XP Home cannot join a domain. Therefore you never logged onto the
domain. Therefore being prompted for authentication for each server thats a
member of the domain doesn't seem too unreasonable.
