I just encountered a bit of a problem with IE and/or XP
Home Edition).
When logging into a secured site, we see the login window
and the fields to input the username and password, but
there is no option to "remember the password".
If all versions of Windows did this it wouldn't bother me
so much, however, this problem is only on Windows XP Home
Edition.
I have tried Windows 95, 98, Millenium, NT, 2000, and XP
Pro and the only O/S that doesn't work, is Windows XP
Home! I've only been able to test this on two workstations
that are running with XP Home but both have the same
trouble.
Is there a reason for this? Or is there some obscure
setting that I cannot find?
TIA.
