Hello,

I booted up the PC and got the error "system" file missing.

I restored the file as per Q823614 but I was not asked for
the admin password during the restore process.

I REN'ed the old system file to system.old and copied the
other sytem file from C:\windows\repair to
C:\windows\system32\config ....

Now when the PC is booted, I get a blue desktop that that
says:

Isass.exe - System Error

When trying to update a password, this return indicates
that the value provided as the current password is not
correct.

Then the PC re-boots it's self and the process starts over.

I have tried to get back in to the repair console but when
I try to type the administrators password the repair
console will not accept it.

Does any one have a new solution I can try!?!?!

Cheers'
