view attachments

Have followed all instructions I have found and still can
not view attachments in XP.

what exactly happens?
What have you tried?
Does this apply:
Outlook Express:
Open Outlook Express.
Click Tools, click Options, click Security tab.
Uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."
This change that Microsoft implemented is to help prevent viruses and
other bad code being received with attachments.
It is very important to keep your antivirus updated and run it at
least weekly.

Do you have the appropriate software to open the attachment.
You normally need the same application that created the attachment.
