windows not starting up

every time i go start up windows it comes up the message
that it did not start up properly and you get a selection
of options like safe mode or safe mode networking and so
on and the only way i can start up is if i go to system
restore every time i start up can some one tell me if this
is a virus or there is something wrong with my computer

Doug, next time you startup choose Safe Mode with command prompt from
the Menu. Then try a System Restore from
