Thumbnails not appearing

The thumbnails for and video file are not being shown, but
pictures appear just fine. Im running windows XP

Any advice?

Have you done the obvious things, e.g. in the folder containing the photos
set View/Thumbnails?

By that, do you mean there is no filename or title under the miniature
picture ? If this is the case, I got this fix from Kelly; Hold down the
shift key while selecting thumbnail view (in the View menu) to toggle icon
titles.
