I cannot get my computer to accept the Welcome Screen Log
On...it will only use the Classic Log On...how do I
correct this problem...and...I thought that there is a
way to change the view of these Log Ons when the computer
is started and you are looking at the Log On screen
itself....if so...what is it?

Rand,

Make sure you enabled Terminal Services and Fast User Switching =
compatibility services using Services.msc applet. Type "services.msc" in =
the RUN box and set these services to Automatic.

Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User Accounts.=20
Click Change the way users log on or off.=20
If it is not already selected, click to select the Use the Welcome =
screen check box.
NOTE: The Use Fast User Switching check box is unavailable until you =
click to select the Use the Welcome screen check box.=20
Click to select the Use Fast User Switching check box, and then click =
Apply Options. Quit the User Accounts tool.

Are these two services started? Also, pls see if there are any error in =
event log.

Other things you might want to check is the GinaDLL entry. A customer =
Gina DLL can disable the Welcome screen. Fix the welcome screen using =

You definitely need to provide more information or *at least* =
acknowledge for the answers I provided earlier.

If you continue this, I'm sorry to say that this minimizes your chance =
of getting support from others.
