I have 2 systems w/ XP Pro, the flips forward one or two
days every few days for no apparent raeson. It makes
backups and restores w/ data files between systems
difficult if you don't catch the "bad" date before oyu
backup.

Double click the clock on the task bar and select "Internet Time" tab. Try
changing the server to one of the others in the list. I'm using
time.windows.com and it seems to work ok.

Also double check your regional settings are correct.

If you think the date is changing while the PC is switched off suspect the
battery that powers the Bios CMOS memory.... but that normally causes time
to run slow when the PC is off.
