How does it? The firewall only blocks incoming requests -
which you should be doing anyway. Any ports needed to
be opened up can be done rather easily, although most
users won't need to open up any.
What is there to fix? It's a service that listens on a
port, just like a web server, a DB server, P2P
applications, telnet server, remote desktop, etc.
The nature of the Internet means that anyone can send
anything to any port, unless it is blocked. If you want
it blocked, install something that blocks it (like a
firewall).
What's the bug again?
