use Restore Console to repair the bad file
using COPY and EXPAND and when I try to path to the
System32 folder I receive access denied.

I've tried SET AllowAllPaths = TRUE and receive the set
command is currently disabled and can only be enabled
usint the Security Configuration and Analysis snap-in.
As far as I know that is only available in the Windows
environment and not the Restore Console command line.

I need to grab a couple files from other than root and if
I can envoke SET AllowAllPaths = TRUE that should allow
me to access and copy to a:\

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Keith

You shouldnt need the expand command for the file, try just using Copy.
