I tried uninstalling Freedom Security and Privacy Suite. Now I have a Fatal Error box with the message--Cannont start Freedom, because the "resource"direcotry or one of its sub-directories is missing. Please try re-installing Freedom. This box comes
up everytime I boot up and when I click to close it restarts XP. I can not get past it my home computer. Any help would really be appreciated.

When your computer boots up, start tapping the F8 key to get the menu
that will allow you to get into Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, go to
Start>Run and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Look on the Startup
tab for anything relating to the Freedom software and uncheck the box.
I can't tell from your post if you were successful in uninstalling this
software or not, but apparently a call to start the program got left
behind. You should then be able to get into Regular Mode. If you are
still having problems, post back. You might want to check on the
Freedom software's website for any known issues or special
uninstallation instructions.
