".Dat" files in Temporary Internet Files,Cookies &
History have all grown to a large size. 5 to 10 MB. In
old Windows 95 and 98 you could go to DOS start up and
use the command "DELTREE" to delete the 3 above mentioned
files. Then when you restarted Windows these files would
regenerate and the DAT file within them was back to 32kb.
How do I get rid of these large DAT files in XP??
Trying to use DOS COMMAND may be the way, but it does not
recognize the tree.
