I updated norton anti virus and a system crash occurred
after a restart and continued to restart itself. I
unistalled Roxio Easy creatot 6 and Norton 2003, and
resinstalled both applications. Now, When I click on a
file or folder, I see "General sharing, and customize" I
don't see the SECURITY tab. Please help. How and what do
to gain my security back. This is messing up many
configations and other applications. System restore will
not work. Please help.
Thank you,
Franklin

You are NTFS and not FAT32 file system using Windows XP Pro?
Is Simple File Sharing disabled?

I believe the only way to have the security is by having
NTSF. All that happened was I used live update and it
killed my xp pro security. I don't blame, but I just want
to know how to get the security back without starting from
scratch.
