Went to a friends house to help him get rid of lots of spyware. He has a
Dell home computer, with Win XP Home. When I go to Control-Alt-Delete, I
only see the applications running tab. I do not get the four remaining tabs,
processors, performance, networking and users. Anyone know what can cause
this and how to fix it?

Thanks

try going to windows -system32 and clicking the taskmanager.exe (if its
there). I ahd this happen after upgrading to xp pro and after doing this it
worked fine. I don't know why or if that actually fixed it or not.

Open Task Manager and double-click anywhere on the top Window border.
Somehow, you managed to convert Task Manager to run in "Tiny Footprint Mode".
