remove program that starts on boot up

I have removed a program from my computer, but it still pops up (won't run of course) every time I boot up the computer. How do I remove it from there?

Removing programs from startup.

The problem you are experiencing requries registry changes.

The following are the registry keys where a program can reside to startup
along with the system. If that program is removed from here, it will not
load.

1. Click Start
2, Click Run
3. Type regedit and press enter.
4. Follow the paths given below and one bye one and check whether the
program you mentioned lies. If so, double-click the entry at the right
window and delete it.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce]

Start / Run / Type in MSCONFIG goto startup menu and uncheck whatever
program you don't want to load or file.

Please help us to help you. What program is this? How did you
remove it? What does "it still pops up" mean? Exactly what pops
up?
