After several virus attacks, that were stopped by Norton
AV, WIN XP System 32 Folder opens at the end of Windows
XP Home startup. I have quaranteened and subsequently
removed the viruses, but the System 32 folder keeps
opening, like something is trying to make modifications.
any help would be appreciated

It's always wise before posting to first search the group for your topic.

I have the same problem since several virus attacks in mid-December, most or all of which were intercepted by NAV. I've tried the posted registry fixes, with no results. So, I thought I'd simply Restore to a before mid-December date. But strangely, Rest
ore won't go back for more than 2 days, which is much different than it used to work. Any help appreciated.
