My question applies to Messenger in Services (Local).
Internal PCI Modem for ISP dail-up access. Windows XP Pro.
As I am not on a network, and do not use MSN - I have
disabled this "Service" in the "Startup Type" column of
Services of Administrative Tools.
I am also running Kerio Firewall in addition to the
embedded Firewall in Windows XP Professional. Kerio
provided me with the initial "heads-up" regarding
Messenger obsessively trying to *go out* when I am
connected to my ISP.
Even though I have disabled Messenger - it continues (if
not blocked by Firewall rule) to go out using UDP
Protocol.
What is up with this Executable Program and what is it
relentlessly trying to do?
Thanks, Freeman
