On December 24th, I posted: I can't get xp to activate.
when i click on activate in
> the lower left corner, nothing happens. when i look for
> activate in all programs, it is not there...help!
and got the the response:Did you buy a computer with XP
installed? If so it is probably already
activated. If you installed XP you should have activated
when prompted. Try
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Activate
Windows.
I did not buy the computer with XP insalled. That computer
has never had windows before. After setting up the
internet connection, I click on "activate" when it pops
up, and nothing happens. When I look for "activate" in
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Activate
Windows, it is NOT THERE! Any ideas?
