David, thanks for the response. You're correct, I
checked the program path in Kerio Firewall rule and it is
msmsgs.exe in the Messenger Folder/Directory of
Program_Files that is trying to *go out*.
I have since changed the Messenger Service (of net send
and Alerter fame) back to Automatic.
The thing that is absolutely puzzling about this is that
I have actually removed Windows_Messenger via >Start
>Settings >Control_Panel
>Add_or_remove_programs_and_Windows_components
>Windows_Messenger <-- That is, I have unloaded or
unchecked the box or un-installed it. This is very
weired.
