After having a few problems with my computer I decided to revert the system
using the restore disk. This put the OS back to 98 (from XP Pro) which I am
not to keen on and would like to install XP again. After running through the
first few steps of the installation it wanted to restart my computer. When
this happens a blank screen appears just before the 98 or XP loading logo
would appear and my HDD light stays constantly on. After 20s or so the light
turns off and I get no response from the computer. Does anyone have any
ideas as to what might be wrong and how I might be able to fix it?
