I am using xp with 4 separate accounts with a password for
each account. Every time I save a picture to MY PICTURES
it appears in the other accounts. Am I doing something
wrong or is this normal. How do I solve this problem?

Kay;
You need to be using NTFS file system to use any kind of security in
windows XP:

Thanks for your reply. I am using NTFS file system. I can
go into documents and settings and 'make this folder
private' but if I have logged into my user account with my
password then should it not mean that it is only
accessible within that user account? Obviously not as it
is saving it to my hard drive that other users have access
to. As you can probably tell I am quite new to all this
but I refuse to give in. Maybe the only way to be able to
save and not give access to others is to set up a
partition. I have considered this but I am a bit nervous
in case I end up with a blank partition. I would be
grateful for any help you can give me.
Thanks
Kay
