If I want to find a file I would use the seach option
available in the start menu area. Unfortunately this has
become disabled on my machine somehow. If I call up the
screen for the search and look on local drives (c:) for
*.mp3 (for example) or any other files, even using exact
file names, it will not find the files on the drive even
though I know they are there. Is there some way to
troubleshoot this problem? It used to work and now it
doesn't. Very strange because I haven't reset any
parameters and am a system administrator still new to XP
but not the find command used for search. Any help would
be appreciated.
