can't remove read-only from file attributes

I copied a directory of files onto a new xp machine.

They are all marked with a greyed-out check in the read-
only attribute box.

I can't seem to get rid of this no matter what I do,

any help out there??

Try using 'Change Properties Now!' it changes file attributes of every
file in a given folder and its subfolders,download from:
http://dl.winsite.com/bin/downl?win95/miscutil/prosetup.exe|0|16500000036313
