Unable install updates

My laptop is Dell Inspiron 8100. Had a system crash and
restored the system of two months ago. Since then Windows
automatic updater notifies me there is updates for
download but every time it fails to install.
I then download the update individually yet still unable
to install with error message "Setup could not verify the
integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer", I
checked the computer and it tells Cryptographic service
is running.

Any clue of repairing this will be appreciated
