Greetings: Windows XP Professional is loaded on my 2 gig
C:. I anticipate users Private Folders will soon need to
store photos, music and text documents that consume more
space than what is available on C: Is it possible to move
the My Documents folders to another drive and still retain
privacy?

Hi Willy,

Yes, this can be done. Right-click on My Documents and click move. Choose a
new location for the folder and click OK. Click OK again.

Next, set file permissions for the folder, read Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article:
HOW TO: Set, View, Change, or Remove File and Folder Permissions in Windows
XP (Q308418)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q308418

NOTE: To set permissions your hard drive must use a NTFS File System. If it
does not , Read Microsoft Knowledge Base Article:
