Hi everybody.
At home, I have my pc and laptop connected fine to the internet via
belkin wireless cards going to a belkin wireless router (which in turn
is connected to my cable internet modem).
I'd like to be able to share and copy files from my pc to my laptop
and vice versa. Is this possible? How do I set it up?
PC has XP Home
Laptop has XP Professional
Thanks :)
Chuck

Here are several websites which contain all the information you need:
http://www.cablesense.com/networking/shares.php
http://www.homenethelp.com/home-network.asp
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/networking/mmr_fileprint_share.htm
Here are several tips which some folks don't always realise:
1) Disable ICF on both computers.
2) Put both computers in the same workgroup.
3) Login to each computer using an account / password identical to
one setup on the other computer.
Cheers,
Chuck
