I have the same problem with my Microsoft trackball
optical. It worked fine until I installed Windows XP. I
downloaded the latest install software from the Microsoft
web page for this product. The biggest problem I have is
in one particular non-Microsoft program called MathCad.
After a few turns of the scroll wheel, the mouse goes
crazy and starts scrolling up and down and up and down
until eventually the program locks up. Sorry I don't
have a solution, but since there are now two of us, maybe
it's something Microsoft needs to look into.

>My Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse is acting very
erratically. It will jump to another location at the
bottom of the page for no reason at all. I've reinstalled
the driver(s) and have even gone to the site and
installed the updated driver(s); but it is still doing
this. Does anyone have any experience with this happening
and is there any advice you can give me? Thanks!!
