View Full Version : Removing trayman icon

After a long extensive search for a good system tray icon manager, I
finally found PC Magazine's trayman which is great and significantly
reduces tray clutter.
There is only one problem, however, the icons that I put in it, I
NEVER use for ANYTHING, so it's irritating to even have its own icon
displayed in the system tray. Does anybody know of any way to safely
remove Tray Manager's icon or of any freeware way to COMPLETELY remove
system tray icons, but still have them run in the background?
I know XP has a built-in way to do this, but it leaves behind those
annoying arrows (any way to disable them?). I have found several
other tools but nothing yet to completely hide a system tray icon.
