Cursor width

Received a message that I had been holding down the Shift
Key for more than 8 seconds and was able to go into a
window allowing customisation of cursor width.

Cannot duplicate this and can find no help on the subject
except for Command Prompt

Any ideas, please and thanks

Go to Control Panel > Accessibility Options > Display (tab).
Under "Cursor Options", move the "Width" slider all the way
to the left (narrow) and click APPLY.
