Hi there. I have been looking for quite a while for a
way to save my list of customized hidden and shown icons
in the systray. The reason is that I have some icons
that are frequently changed due to system attributes and
I keep have to set them to "always show". When I get
close to the end of the possible combinations of icon
labeling for them, I end up formatting for one reason or
another. I am a power user and constantly tweaking the
hell out of my system and quite often breaking WinXP Pro
beyond repair. Then, after I re-install, I have to go
through the constant updating of the customized icon
notifications yet again. If I could save these settings
either by exporting a registry key or backing up a file,
it would save me much time after a re-install. Does
anybody have ANY clue where this info is stored. I've
even tried install monitoring software to find out what
changes when you make a change through the taskbar
properties, but I cannot find anything related to these
changes. I would be grealty indebted to anyone who can
help me here.
