My question is so simple it hurts...how do I assign a
character to a particular key, so that the code for the
character doesn't have to be typed each time???? It's the
stupid, simple stuff that kills us all early! The person
that helps will be entitled to my entire kingdom, uh, a
mattress, two dogs and a parrot.

HI Christopher,

Thier are several utility programs which may do what you want.

Go to Download.com and do a search under " Macro " or WinKey

Good luck

Hi Ahmed,
Try using TweakUI. Under TweakUI go to the control panel section and check
the "main.cpl-Mouse, Keyboard etc" checkbox.

TweakUI can be downloaded at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp
