We are having a problem with a driver for a digitizer
working properly with windows xp. I have added a partion
using Fat32 to the hard drive but I cannot load my
windows 98 on it. It says I need to run ms-dos first,
then load windows 98. I can't seem to by-pass windows xp
loading even when I use bios functions (f2) to tell the
computer to boot from the windows 98 CD. Can anyone tell
me how to load windows 98 on my second partion? This is
a new laptop that came pre-loaded with windows xp.

As long as your XP partition is FAT32, See my web site, www.dougknox.com and
go to Win XP Tips

For Win9x/Me: Install 98/Me after XP is Installed.
For Windows 2000: Install Windows 2000 after XP is installed.

If your XP partition is NTFS, you'll need a 3rd party boot manager, like
BootIt Next Generation, www.bootitng.com.
